User Stories for PyCon Talk Scheduler

  1. Able to print up-to-date per-room schedules at any time for posting outside of the rooms, for use by organizer.
  2. Ability to log into the website and produce personalized schedules of talks, for printing and/or download for use by attendees. Personalized means dropping out those talks not interesting. Shows a single day, and more detail per talk than the master schedule. Might have options to toggle more/less detail.
  3. Ability to print master schedules with registration packets, for use by organizers. Formats are (1) sorted by date/room, and (2) by speaker.
  4. Output reports may be in HTML, XML, PDF, iCal, CSV.
  5. Able to enter talk data via a web interface, for organizers.
  6. User wants access over the Internet, both before and during the conference?
  7. Protect against link to Internet goes down.
  8. Ability of organizers to get a report of which talks users are selecting as popular.
  9. Personalized user choices should be persistent from session to session.
  10. Able to load a flat file into the db.
  11. Produce a textual report of all talks in the db.
