Starting Up a Zope 3 Server Instance

Zope supports multiple running instances, where you can have several Zope websites, each configured separately but all sharing the underlying Zope software.

Foreground - For Development

When doing component development, it is common to run Zope in the foreground, stopping and restarting it as you do your work.

Change to the directory of where you create a server instance, which in my case is '~/zope3', and invoke the runzope command.

  [jrush]# cd ~/zope3
  [jrush]# bin/runzope

And point your browser at port 8080 of the host on which you're running.
